hey guys, just a heads up that avatars should now be working fine.  please select your preferred method next to your current avatar, the options are to upload, choose from the gallery, or remove.  Obviously, choose upload in this box, then upload your new avatar, and then update your profile.

next will be to edit the forums buttons and try to get rid of the GCGC bkg in all of the text boxes.
