Who are you calling MUNCHKIN?

Munchkin-The fast paced action adventure RPG card game where super omega combatants face off against the evil Cowthulu equipped only with british spy equipment, chainsaws, and sometimes a ray gun they stole from the other player while they weren't looking.
Immediately the first time I looked at the names of Munchkin cards I saw the obviouse puns produced from other more seriouse entertainment. With titles such as: Munchkin Impossible, Clerical Errors, and Cowthulu, you immediately realize that this may be the most rediculouse game in history. Once I got started in it took no time at all to learn the basic rules and goals of the game, if you could describe them as rules and not more like guidelines.
The basis of the game is to build a munchkin character and level him up until you win the game by reaching a predefined level (8, 12, or even 20.) The exciting part is that during game play you add not only equipment to your character, but also race, gender, class, and loyalties. In a sense it could be described as a barebones Dungeons and Dragons game without the dungeon crawls, but instead we get cards with funny images on them. By the end of one game I was a british werewolf assassin cultist with the primordial blade of power in one hand and a series of deadly fire arms in another.
In all respects the game was very fun to learn and play with no previouse knowledge of the system mechanics. Coming from a background rich in TCG's such as Yugioh, Magic, and DBZ, I was shaken by how loose the rules were, especially when I had been forced to look up erratas atleast once a month for each game. Instead, you may argue your opponent into submission on the reading of a card until the owner of said card steps in and says it does whatever and in fact, it does do whatever they say because it's their card. That's pretty much the only rule you have to remember, because cheating in this game is applauded, not instant banishment.
I definitely recommend trying Munchkin for anyone, the rules are very simple to learn and gameplay is hilarious fun.
